![]() ![]() Analyst Ratings: Not super important IMO, as analysts can be biased, and are usually way off (think cramer).Reason for 52-Week high: This is very important, I want to know what got the stock to that high and more importantly can it be replicated, ie do we have another upcoming catalyst that is similar or can yield the same results.52-Week Range: I like this because it shows me how low and how high the stock traded this year and shows me where we are currently, and more importantly how far we can potentially move up to.There are other things you can and should look at but these are my favorite Short Interest The higher the better I look ideally for 20%+. ![]() Shares On Loan: The higher the better, I look for 20%+ ideally.CTB: The higher the better, I look ideally for 50%+.Low floats are good because they require much lower volume to move the price. Float: The lower the float the better, anything 50M and below is considered a low float IMO.Name of the game is volume here and that will come in if there is something exciting about to happen. Upcoming Catalysts: here I look for future catalysts that can move the stocks and people can rally around, previous catalysts are not as important here.Like I said this is not something that is very critical for me if I'm looking at a squeeze play Fundamental Observations: I mostly try to find out here if the company is a scam or not, and does it have anything that can excite investors.I like to invest with one particular goal in mind. These are some of the indicators I look at when I consider the potential of a short squeeze play, this is what I use you can use more or ignore some of these as you wish.Īlso, another important note is that I'm looking more at forward-looking indicators and not much when it comes to the fundamentals for these plays, I'm looking at short squeeze catalysts, which doesn't mean the companies are not great fundamental plays/long holds, but this is not the goal. I'm only human, I apologize in advance, and I do take constructive criticism well, so feel free to point out any mistakes (backed by sources) and I will edit them in right away I can and will at some point miss a few things here and there.I'm not a financial advisor, and this is not financial advice. These are what i use, you can use anything you like, there is nothing special about these.Insider Information is from Insidertracking.Short information is acquired from FinViz/Ortex.Share Structure and Institutional Buying information is acquired from Yahoo! Finance/FinVIz.I look for stocks on 3 subs only r/OnesqueezeDD, r/SqueezePlays, and r/Shortsqueeze.Here are some things you need to know first While it's impossible to know for sure, there are certain things I do to make sure I have the best possible chance. If you check my previous posts you will see that I do mostly very in-depth DD, and I have been getting a lot of messages on how can one get in a short squeeze early, or more importantly how would one figure out if a stock squeeze will actually happen. ![]()
